I'm Raúl del Cuadro

Hi, nice to meet you – I’m Raúl, a strategic communicator who believes in meaningful, human-centred marketing.

What I believe in

I value depth over hype. Whether it’s a message, a team dynamic or a brand story — I aim to create real, meaningful connection.

O1. Connection over noise
O2. Curiosity drives growth

I ask questions, explore, and stay open to change. Curiosity keeps me learning — and makes collaboration way more fun.

O3. Clarity builds trust

I like to keep things simple and honest. I believe clarity — in communication and in intent — makes people feel safe and aligned.

O4. Kindness is strength

I work better when there’s empathy in the room. I believe being kind, respectful and human is a leadership skill — not a weakness.

Skills

With over a decade of experience in brand, content and communication strategy, I’ve helped companies like Toyota, Coca-Cola, Santander, Spotify and Decathlon design digital experiences that connect meaningfully with their audiences.

Currently, I lead global communications at Softonic — shaping how the brand speaks to users, media, partners and employees across markets. My role combines strategy, storytelling, external positioning and internal engagement. I also teach social media and analytics at university, where I love sharing ideas and learning from the next generation of marketers.

Beyond the job titles and project decks, I’m someone who believes that marketing should be clear, useful and human. I’m driven by curiosity, energised by collaboration, and passionate about turning complex challenges into simple, strategic actions.

In my free time, I explore creativity through painting, travelling and writing.
